Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, Progressive, New styles and Experimental cultured musicians invited.
Expected Open-Mindingness Level:
From Relatively open ( to other connex genres than your main one(s)) to Totally Open (in all possible musical genres and styles).
Please note you may submit for more than a single date but therefore precising the instrument(s) performed at each dates.
4 types of meetings :
Training Meetings
Festive sessions, with A.M.I.C. present participants and workshops introduction. Priliminary experiences try up periods from Total Free Jamming (0 instructions), to three (3) given indication(s) per Play Role depending of the concerned player's confidence level. Meeting Type suggested to all members and especially appropriated for the new coming ones.
Collective Creativity Workshops
Sketches collective composition and performance training sessions. Those are based on A.M.I.C. principle tips and/or musical elements promoting inspiration and a better execution of the improvised "piece" in all his magic fashion to live and and to make live...
Two Group Levels :
- "Evolution", for musicians in more or less advanced improv developement phasis, good for all intermediate and some novice ones.
- "Revolution", for more experienced Improv musicians.
A.M.I.C. Performance Sessions : Internal Competition with allowed public voting audience.
Two 5 or 6tet teamers groups Musical Improv Confrontation. Merely appropriated for well confident Improvisers.
Less experimented ones may nonetheless submit their presence as voting spectators by writing simply the word "Jury" in the concerned date "specification" blank space of the form here below.
Pure Jam Sessions
Musical Improv Parties featuring 5 to 10 well profiled older and new participants. Those ones are elected according to the common compliant points observed as forming a majority throught the applicants'profiles characteristics who applied for the Jam given date.
N.B.: If you didn't get the last sentence but really would like to be part in such A.M.I.C. event, just tick your instrument on the form and phone us a few days before the event date to know if you could fit in the expected "one night" groupment.
Break-off Meetings and Recorded performance excerpts playback listening breaks are part of all our different events in a convienient relaxing area with refreshments.
